Weston Filmo Cine Exposure Meter Model 650 USA man. 1937 Return to Early Years
This special edition version of the model 650 Photronic was made especially for the Bell & Howell Co. for dedicated use with their Filmo range of professional cine cameras. It does not use a luminance scale and the meter reads f stops for Regular Panchromatic film stock at a shooting speed of sixteen frames per second. If a different speed film is in use, it is set in the lower window on the calculator dial. The framing rate in use is aligned to it. The inner aperture scale on the dial then gives the revised aperture needed on the camera when read off against the outer aperture scale giving the meter needle indicated aperture.
